I started earlier this weekend trying to work on the actual important thing I'm supposed to be working on but found that after about two weeks of being unable to draw due to Scheduling it was Not going to happen and be a good time and result in something I liked. So I came back to Bedfellows to help me get back into it... can't say I'm feeling Vastly more confident in myself, but just being loose and making a buncha cartoony little guys has helped. A bit. If nothing else.

There are like.. two strata of Ideas I have in terms of comics; ones i'm gunning to make and ones I just like to rotate in my mind for fun...

This weekend, in an effort to still draw something while I got some much needed rest, I figured the most low-stakes thing I could conjure would be the cast of the comedy-slice-of-life comic featuring my irl stuffed animals as characters would be a good choice fkskfjf it's a lot of designs i could just get really shapey on and didn't have to be too serious about =w=

I will Finally be able to draw some Laz soon I promise.. i just needed a bit of a breather that wasn't gunna stress me out.. i'm Very excitrd to get back to him though i miss him so much 😭

Ok I have another question about the hero and villain warrior cats AU. Does Dove/Tiger happen here. Also how would the hero and villain costumes be designed? You can just describe it if you don't want to draw it. I really like this AU I'm tempted to make some fan art of it.

VIBRATING INTENSELY TY FOR GIVING ME OPPORTUNITIES TO YAMMER!!! Dove/Tiger does happen. Dovewing doesn't have a 'secret identity', her power and identity are openly known hence why she's on such a tight leash. She's basically a celebrity as one of the youngest heroes to enter LOUH (info on them here) and fight alongside Jay and Lion. She meets Tiger outside of costume after ditching class after being made to go to school to keep up appearances. The two hit it off, fucking around in the ravine nearby and shooting the shit. friendship to romance when they get older, probably around their early 20s that dovewing starts considering him romanticalyl. does not find out he's part of ivy's villain team until later in, drama ensues.

Costumes are super dependent on your power and your funds. Hero costumes are designed to maximize usage of your power as well as keep a public image (they go big in the. If you're with an agency, they'll order you a costume to be made custom. Beginners tend to start off basic: whatever you've got in your closet, you use. Villains tend to amass a stronger outfit more slowly as they need to find tailors who won't out them (most won't. you can make a good profit off of designing for villains and independent heroes)

for a breakdown of this in practice, here's dovewing and ivypool:

appearance vs practical. dove's is about giving the illusion of a mysterious hero, her costume misdirects her opponents into thinking she's a precog. ivypool comparatively made her own costume using pieces from her closet and cheap stuff that hawkfrost gave her. she improves her costume later on once she and her team get a nastier reputation

both do have masks but i'm still working out the designs. dovewing wears hers on missions to protect her eyes, it's a half mask as she needs to keep her voice understandable. ivy wears a full face mask, i was thinking a baseball catcher mask but i think she'd switch it to something else so they couldn't identify her too easily as a baseball player.

- Like I mentioned before, Bramblepaw ends up joining ShadowClan and Tawnypaw stays with Thunderclan. Brackenfur continues to mentor her until she receives her warrior name

- Also like I mentioned before, Tawnyflower views Firestar as somewhat of a father figure (and Sandstorm as a mother figure, to an extent, though Tawnyflower has Goldenflower there for her). When Squirrelkit and Leafkit are born, Tawnyflower immediately views them as baby sisters, and they’re all basically a big family

- When Cinderpelt receives the vision about Tiger and Fire destroying the forest, Firestar tries to keep Tawnyflower away from his kids just to be safe. This really hurts Tawnyflower, who doesn’t know why Firestar is treating her like this, and thought that she had his trust above all else in the Clan (who still treat her fairly poorly, since she has a pretty similar personality to the brash and snappy Tigerstar)

- All of the second arc prophecy cats are the same, with Tawnyflower being the representative of ThunderClan and Brambleclaw being the rep of ShadowClan (and of course, Squirrelpaw joins Tawnyflower, and both these sisters r super happy that they can hang out together without Firestar being weird abt it)

- Crowpaw still likes Feathertail, but the feeling isn’t quite reciprocated. Feathertail heard of the tragedies that befell her mother Silverstream and her great-grandmother Fallowtail, who suffered because of these forbidden relationships. Feathertail regards him like a kid with a crush, and remains friendly with him

- It’s Stormfur who dies for the Tribe, and his friends mourn his death 

- In this au, Crowpaw asked to be name Crowstorm after his dead friend

- Tigerstar is still trying to influence his children to act out to his will. Tawnyflower immediately dismisses him, not wanting anything to do with him. Brambleclaw, however, buckles under the pressure of trying to impress everyone and trains with him. Tawnyflower has to deal with the pressure of keeping her clan under control (ESPECIALLY after being made deputy), keeping tabs on her friends in other Clans, and trying to look out for her brother

- Bramble and Squirrel slowly fall in love over the course of the journey, and Brambleclaw struggles between his loyalty to ShadowClan and his loyalty to his father and his feelings for Squirrelflight. In the end, Brambleclaw leaves ShadowClan to be with his mate, his sister and his mom

- Leaf x Crow still happens in this, with both of them running away, only to return to save the Clan from badgers. In the end, Leafpool stays behind in ThunderClan, like canon. However, Crowstorm doesn’t have the same reputation as she does, and is exiled. His friends try to insist that he’s welcome in ThunderClan, and Crow is thankful, but instead he runs away to join the Tribe

- (I’m not quite sure how Breezepelt is gonna work in this au; I’m thinking he’s probably just gonna be a kid of Nightcloud and someone else who grows up happier than he did in canon)

- Feathertail becomes deputy under Mistystar

- Leafpool still ends up having Holly, Lion and Jay, and they are raised as Squirrel and Bramble’s kits. Tawnyflower has a Pretty Good Feeling that they’re Crowstorm’s kids, because she’s got fuckign eyes, but says nothing

- When the Three end up visiting the Tribe, Crowstorm greets his friends with friendliness; he’s found peace and happiness in the Tribe and honoring Stormfur’s spirit. He regards Jaypaw, Hollypaw, and Lionpaw with warmth, believing them to be the kits of two of his closest friends

- Hollyleaf and Jayfeather keep their usual names (Jay being named after Feathertail specifically); Lion, however, is named Lionstorm after his bio dad

- (I’m actually not sure what to do abt Tawnyflower’s kits??? I haven’t decided on that yet)

- When the secret about the Three’s parents gets out, it’s Lionstorm instead of Holly that absolutely loses it (due to the hyper aggression that had been building up the entire series, as well as the prospect of having these StarClan-granted-powers getting to his head). He kills Ashfur, reveals the secret at a Gathering, attempts to kill Leafpool, and then runs away

- It doesn’t take Hollyleaf long to realize that she doesn’t have any sort of StarClan-granted power. However, she works the hardest out of anyone in the Clan to make things right. She helps Dovepaw learn about her powers (and is her mentor), she sympathizes with Ivypaw about not being ‘special’, and she and Briarlight both make sure Jayfeather isn’t slowly going mental due to stress

- Lionstorm does end up returning to the Clan with Crowstorm, revealing that he had ran away to join the Tribe. They both help the Clan prepare for the battle with the Dark Forest (Crowstorm also knows that he’s the Three’s dad at this point, and tries to be somewhat of a fatherly figure to his kits. Except for Lionstorm, who’s been staying with him and is used to this, it’s V E R Y awkward for everyone; it’s awkward for Jay and Holly, it’s awkward for the Three’s foster parents, and it’s awkward for the entire Clan that worked hard to pretend that these kits weren’t super forbidden.)

- Lionstorm dies in the final battle, and his death is greatly mourned. Crowstorm decides to stay in ThunderClan after that, not wanting the same fate to befall his other two kids if he can’t help it

- Once Firestar dies, Tawnyflower becomes Tawnystar. She offers the deputy position to Squirrelfight, who politely refuses. Instead, Hollyleaf becomes deputy of ThunderClan

- AAAAAAAND YEA thats more or less the au it’s got Tawnystar and Featherstar and future Hollystar and honestly what else could u want

Hmmm legendary/best moments moments in khh would be...

When Tiger JK and Tasha FINALLY got married. They dated for over 8 years, and he’d known her since she was like fifteen so their marriage was such a big deal. I would consider them Khh royalty.

Bobby winning SMTM because it was the first time idol rappers got any recognition and respect. It’s like an idol rapper (that didn’t have a preexisting connection to the underground scene) got praise even though he was overground. Although, Bobby did ruin that recognition and respect for idol rappers when he called idol rappers out in that same moment. This triggered an idol rapper diss war.

Soul Company disbanding. Not many people know about Soul Company since it disbanded about seven years ago but it was the O.G khh company. This company had The Quiett, Minos, Madclown, Crucial Star, G-Slow, Rhymer, If this didn’t disband. Starship, Illionaire, and Brand New wouldn’t be what it is today or may not even exist. 

Control Diss Battle between Swings, E-Sens, Simon D, Gaeko. When Supreme Team disbanded E-Sens dissed Gaeko and his old company using the beat Control by Big Sean. Then Swings dissed Ugly Duck and Simon D, then Gaeko released a song dissing E-Sens. Simon D responded to Swings, E-Sens responded to Gaeko, and even more rappers got involved with the beef. Swings released another song dissing Simon D and then the disses stopped. This whole thing was about a week of intense song dropping. It was a bad image for khh and a lot of people were hurt by the events. Swings and Simon D aren’t friends to this very day. 

Diss war between Tymee, Jolly V, Kitti B. Or what I like to call the pettiest of petti diss battles. Jolly V dissed a bunch of women rappers because she thinks she’s hard. Tymee and Kitti B responded. It was short lived and no one really brings it up.

E-Sen’s getting arrested for marijuana, getting put on parole, breaking parol and getting arrested again. Very few khh rappers actually get arrested and Esen became kind of the staple game changer for that. (Outside of the giant drug bust in the 90s involving Tiger JK and his old crew)

Jay Park getting rejected to join Illionaire so instead he made AOMG. It’s kinda hard to imagine a world where there’s no AOMG, but I’m glad things happened the way they did.  

Thee’s a bunch other things like the Rockbottom drug scandal, Iron’s sexual harassment case, B-free dissing BTS, B-free dissing San E, Blacknut’s entire discography, Nochang’s scandal, Swings mental illness, Tablo’s Map The Soul company going under, That time Verbal Jint taught Korean’s how to rhyme.
